About WIP Renewable Energies
WIP Renewable Energies, founded in 1968, is a small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) whose mission is to bridge the gap between research and implementation of renewable energy systems. The company focuses on two core activities: Participation in international projects in the field of renewable energy & Organization of major international events such as the yearly European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (EUPVSEC) WIP was already at the forefront of innovation in renewables in 1981, when it took part in the first PV Pilot Plant projects in Europe under the second Energy R+D Programme of the European Commission. This pioneering position has since then been maintained and will continue to drive the company in the years to come. We are an interdisciplinary team of professionals focusing on the successful implementation of renewable energy projects: • 35 years experience in Renewable Energy Projects • 25+ multinational team members • More than 300 projects accomplished WIP provides expert technical and non-technical service to private, industrial and public sector clients at national and international level and applies an integrated approach to bridge the gap between research in the renewable energy field and implementation into the markets.
