Wipe Out Music was founded by John Esplen in 1996 initially as a spin-off to the various record labels he managed including the prestigious punk rock label Overground Records, home to punk legends such as Steve Ignorant, 999, The Cravats and Richard Hell. The company existed solely as a music publishing company for almost 30 years before expanding to also include distribution, broadcast rights, songwriter, composer and artist development services. Wipe Out Music continues to carry the torch of our punk rock roots by remaining fiercely independent; committed to giving the artists and labels we work with the respect, enthusiasm and dedication they deserve.
