Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA) is a state nonprofit organization with a mission to advance comprehensive and transformational support of the early childhood workforce in service of our vision of a just Wisconsin where early care and education is viewed and invested in as a public good. We believe working toward this vision will allow all early educators, young children, families, and communities to thrive. We address root causes of child care challenges through innovative programs and initiatives for child care professionals and programs at the local, regional, and state levels for at least 90% of Wisconsin’s early childhood workforce. WECA also leads engagement efforts to advance the vision of early care and education as a public good through policy, research, and advocacy efforts.
