Their industries range from construction to manufacturing, from retail to health care. The size of member companies also varies widely - from a handful of employees to more than 6,000. FAMILY BUSINESS CENTER MEMBER BENEFITS: Lecture Series: Leading family business experts share insights and information on trends and techniques that can be applied to your business. The curriculum is completely driven by the needs and desires of our members. Food for Thought: Educational breakfast programs are presented each year by Family Business Center sponsors. These relevant and timely topics help you, your family, and your family business succeed. Affinity Groups: The UW Family Business Center offers this innovative approach, giving you even more networking and learning opportunities tailored to your particular interests and concerns. Affinity groups provide peer support, a confidential forum for delicate issues, relationship building, and in-depth discussion of critical topics.
