About Wisconsin Lions Foundation
Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located at 3834 County Road A, Rosholt, WI 54473. WLF operates five statewide projects on behalf of the Lions of Wisconsin (MD 27). These projects are Wisconsin Lions Camp, Eyeglass Recycling, Vision Screening, Hearing, and Diabetes Awareness. Wisconsin Lions Camp is dedicated to providing quality camp experiences for Wisconsin youth and adults with disabilities. In 2025 we served over 1,000 campers for free. The populations we serve are youth & adults who are Blind or Visually Impaired, youth & adults who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, youth with epilepsy, youth and young adults with intellectual disabilities or autism, and youth with diabetes. Eyeglass Recycling collects used eyeglasses from throughout the United States, sorts, washes, and reads them in preparation for shipment to missions all over the world. Vision Screening involves trained members of Lions Clubs from thoughout the state going to pre-schools, elementary schools, daycares, and other facilities to conduct screening for potential eye issues. Children are then referred for further evaluation by an optometrist if a potential issue is identified. Hearing involves collecting used hearing aids from throughout the state and turning them in for credit. That credit is then used to provide new hearing aids for individuals in need throughout the state. Diabetes Awareness provides materials to raise awareness about diabetes to Lions Clubs holding events throughout the state.
