About Wish Upon A Teen

Wish Upon a Teen is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing resources, time and opportunities to teenagers with severe life-limiting medical conditions. Through creative, social, and educational opportunities, our goal is to normalize their environment and rebuild their self-esteem as they transition to adulthood. The focus is on making teenage lives as normal as possible, regardless of their health issues, while helping them address the new circumstances and situations they find themselves in – from dealing with hair loss due to chemotherapy, to learning coping strategies for dealing with extended periods of hospitalization.
