About Witch Paddle

Witch Paddle LLC is Colorado’s premier Halloween-themed paddleboarding event where magic meets community. What began in 2021 as a spontaneous gathering of 80 participants has rapidly evolved into a sold-out annual festival, now drawing hundreds of witches (and spectators) each October to Chatfield State Park. Part costumed adventure, part community fundraiser, Witch Paddle celebrates connection, creativity, and giving back. Attendees dress in their witchy best and take to the water, while spectators enjoy food trucks, vendors, and festive activities along the beach. We’re more than just an event, we’re a movement. Witch Paddle supports nonprofit organizations that protect and empower children, with proceeds benefiting organizations like Thorn, Comfort Cases, and Operation Underground Railroad. We believe community fun can also drive real change. Witch Paddle LLC is also in the process of launching a 501(c)(3) arm to expand our charitable reach, volunteer initiatives, and witchy wellness experiences year-round.
