I am a 27 year old IT Business Owner and US Army Veteran. More than that I am a husband and father. Little I do will ever compare to these qualities and I am happy with this. That being said, I have been building my own PC's since I was 12. Prior to that I cut my teeth on DOS6.22 and WFWG3.11. I created my first webpages when HTML3 was new, I was an early adopter of Geocities, and I was an Alpha tester for Internet Explorer 5 at the age of 14. Early on I realized my enthusiasm lay more in the proper setup and maintenance of Systems and Applications than with exploiting every new media fad to come out for the purposes of self-promotion. To that end I have kept my methods low key and dabbled on various other-than-common-use platforms over the years; From 64bit Windows to SUSE Linux, Fedora, and today Debian based Linux Distros like Mepis and Edubuntu, but I have always kept a focus on troubleshooting and hardware, with an eye to secure environments. To put it simply, I care for what works, no matter what it runs on or by what methods its developed. Basic User Understanding and Best Practices can do wonders to reduce support costs, and I do my best to raise awareness among my clients and end users.
