About With Purpose - Strategic Problem Solving

Solving complex problems & co-designing solutions with you and your teams through facilitation I’m a strategist, facilitator and regulatory consultant who works with executives, leadership teams and boards. I help identify, tighten and drive strategy whilst ensuring systems and processes are properly established and deployed. I do this whilst working simultaneously on communication, relationships and group culture. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked at senior levels within Regulators and Government, delivered projects in diverse teams with consulting firms, was CEO of an environmental organisation reporting to a member-based board, and was part of an executive team of an international not for profit, responsible for teams across Asia Pacific. I’ve worked in a range of field and executive roles and what I’ve learnt is that I love solving interesting problems with interesting people. As a strategist I can help you understand your ‘why’, facilitate agreement on what success looks like, and support you to create structures and plans to convert that strategy into action. As a facilitator I can help you harness the collective value of your group to deliver better outcomes, reach consensus and improve relationships. And if you’re a regulator, I can help you improve your regulatory strategy and practice, and solve complex compliance problems. Diagnosing and solving strategic problems is fundamental to any organisation. Whether you’re building houses, growing ethical supply chains, or trying to navigate the regulatory landscape to effect change, good strategic thinking is about being explicit, overt and deliberate, and it’s bloody hard to do that by yourself.
