Wendy Reiter, MSEd offers her professional expertise and knowledge to administrators and school faculty after a 35 year plus career in education, developing specific student advisory and mentoring models that support the adolescent years. Important adolescent themes are addressed, including peer pressure, health and wellness, organizational skills, and decision making. Wendy collaborates and supports a faculty in honing the skills that provide advisors the confidence and skills needed to forge meaningful relationships with their advisory. By offering professional development that focuses on skills and activities for advisories, the advisory model is greatly enhanced and secured. Wendy has also successfully developed a mentor program of high school students that support middle school students throughout their middle school experience. A strong adolescent development program has the potential to become an integral part in an institution's youth development. Important leadership training is an essential component in providing each mentor with the critical skills needed for a successful experience and relationship with an advisory. Throughout Wendy Reiter’s educational career, she has had the remarkable good fortune and opportunity to work closely and collaborate with many renowned authors, psychologists, physicians and educators in the fields of child growth and development and diversity. Wendy Reiter is also committed to working closely with the school administration in creating opportunities for parent education. With a strong parent education initiative in place, families are given a strong sense of community and belonging to their child’s school experience and environment.
