About Wolf Racing Cars
The Wolf brand appeared in the motorsport scene back in 1976, when the Canadian Walter Wolf founded the Walter Wolf Racing. The team took part in the Formula 1 World Championship for four years (using Ford engines), running from 1976 to 1979, fielding several drivers, amongst which Jody Scheckter, Jacky Ickx, Chris Amon and Arturo Merzario. The golden-black livery of the team came back to race in 2009, when the brand’s rights were acquired by the Italian team Avelon Formula led by Giovanni Bellarosa (whose Company was founded in 1976 by Giovanni Bellarosa himself), who decided to start an innovative project: the Wolf GB08. Since 2010, We are a manufacturer of Sport Prototype cars. The car, a CN2 class Sports Prototype pushed by a Honda 2 litres engine was build with high ambitions and aiming to open a new era in the category. In 2018, the Italian Automobile Federation chose our Sport Prototype car, the Wolf GB08 Thunder, as the only car that can compete in the Italian championship in the years 2018-2022. For this project, We received the official supply of the engines by Aprilia Racing (Piaggio Group). The category immediately became a great success and in the first 2 years, we sold over 100 cars only of this model. In 2019, our Wolf GB08, powered by Honda Turbo, won arriving in first place at Pikes Peak, the most famous Hill Climb competition in the World. Since 2010, our racing cars have been winning 13 championships in Europe as also in America and Australia. Currently we build 3 different car models, all Sport Prototypes and all FIA homologated. Our racing cars are sold in Europe, in USA (Spring Mountain is our dealer in Nevada), in Australia, Greece, Spain, Germany, France and Asia.
