About Women and Children in Need

Women and Children in Need (WaCIN) is a global NGO dedicated to creating positive societal change. Beyond addressing the challenges faced by women and children, we align our efforts with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our mission is to empower women and children from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, fostering self-sufficiency and driving enduring change in their lives and beyond. WaCIN passionately pursues all 17 SDGs, focusing intently on 5 key goals at present, with plans to embrace the remaining two soon. Our initiatives encompass a spectrum of projects, ranging from educational opportunities and skills enhancement to scholarship guidance. Notably, we extend vocational and technical training to women, equipping them with tangible skills that open doors to employment, whether within organizations or through remote arrangements. The essence of our approach lies in nurturing leadership qualities from the grassroots level, creating a ripple effect of empowerment. Empowered women become catalysts, extending their influence and support to others in their circles, thereby amplifying our impact. WaCIN embraces the commitment to fostering entrepreneurial journeys among the women we serve. Through tailored mentorship, access to resources, and potential financial backing, we aim to cultivate a thriving ecosystem for female entrepreneurs. Collaborating with other organizations and leveraging mentor expertise, we further magnify the outcomes of our initiatives. Central to our ethos is the concept of societal giving, where each WaCIN member is united by the shared dedication to provide the support they once sought during moments of struggle. We firmly believe in the innate power of every woman; what they often lack is the right opportunity to nurture and showcase their empowerment.
