About Women Entrepreneurs' Network
Through economic empowerment, women have a voice and gain access to equity in their work and homelife. For women, BIPOC and LGBT+ women especially, entrepreneurship is a social justice issue as it provides a unique opportunity for women to level the playing field, earn a fair wage and carve their own table to sit at. Entrepreneurship can help women to escape poverty, find independence from intimate partner violence (also termed domestic violence) and parent on their own terms. Wounded Wings has provided various programs to support women in business and women entrepreneurs. The Women Entrepreneur’s Network (WEN) gives members 365-degree support to start and sustain a successful business to create financial stability and self-sufficiency.
