About Women in Business UCF

Women in Business UCF was created support and empower the next generation of female business leaders by developing technical skills and a strong social network. Our main goal is to help all members obtain a job offer prior to or upon graduation. We are here to mentor and guide female college students by providing access to resources that will enable them to perform at executive levels in professional and educational environments. We will have educational meetings with businesswomen that have excelled in the workplace and will provide several social networking opportunities for members to build strong relationships and gain connections to big opportunities. Gaining internships and job offers is incredibly important for student success upon graduation. It's no secret that men have been favored by employers in most business professions, notably finance, accounting, and investments, among others. There is a noticeable wage gap between males and females. Because of this, we see that women are still at a large disadvantage in professional environments. We aim to prepare female UCF students to help bridge the gap between businessmen and businesswomen that has existed for far too long.
