The conference has been planned by women leaders in the construction industry and is scheduled to be an annual event, changing venue locations each year to various western cities. The format of the conference is a one-day program consisting of panels on relevant topics in addition to female keynote speakers sharing their insights as women in the construction industry. This conference is designed to promote and advance women in construction. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, women working in construction numbered 10.9% of the entire U.S. workforce in 2022. Women in the U.S. earn on average 82.9 percent of what men make.
