Hello World! We are Women in Technology (WIT) at The University of Sydney. The Australian Computer Society’s 2023 Digital Pulse report found that women make up only 29% of the tech workforce in Australia. WIT is a society passionately dedicated to empowering women at The University of Sydney so they can thrive in the technology industry despite underrepresentation. WIT has three aims at The University of Sydney: 1. Empowering women by providing opportunities for them to gain valuable experiences. 2.
