About Women's Animal Center

For 150 years, Women's Animal Center (WAC) has served the pets and the people in the Greater Philadelphia region, while advocating for the welfare of animals throughout our great country and beyond. Our services include an AAHA accredited veterinary hospital located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. We are a full service practice equipped with digital radiography, a multi-table surgical suite, state of the art in house diagnostic equipment, five spacious exam rooms, and an experienced support staff. Services we offer include routine to specialty surgery including aesculight laser surgery, dental prophylaxis, chronic disease management, preventative care, and physical rehabilitation. Women's Animal Center was founded in 1869 and is America’s First Animal Shelter™. Today our mission remains on lifesaving and finding forever homes for pets.
