www.womenwhotest.com Women Who Test is a network for women software testers. When women work together and inspire each other, amazing things happen. Women Who Test connects women software testers around the world - allowing them to share testing ideas and solutions while helping each other thrive and advance their careers. In a world where men largely outnumber women in science, technology, engineering and math, women need to band together to share knowledge and information. Women Who Test allows them to do this. Women Who Test also holds events featuring women speakers. These events are designed so that women can learn from and be inspired by each other. Programs cover testing topics that support women’s personal and career journeys, with topics such as re-engineering your life, growing your personal brand, and discovering your career superpowers. It is our hope that women will be inspired to speak about their experiences in public forums to help further their careers as well as influence other women. The current ratio of women speaking at public events does not come close to representing the already low industry ratio of male to female testers - 7:3. It is our mission to get the ratio to where it should be - mirroring the worldwide gender ratio of 1:1, one female speaker for every male speaker. Let's work together to achieve that goal.
