About WonderGene

Our mission is to make genetic analysis an accessible tool to everyone, especially to companies that want to check the authenticity of the raw materials they purchase, and overall, to everyone who needs to avoid the numerous frauds involving natural origin products in the supply chains. How? Thanks to a portable laboratory for genetic analysis and ready-to-use kits to carry out these analyses in any context even by non-expert users in genetics. Born in Trento as an innovative start-up thanks to Bio4dreams, a certified incubator, we sink our roots in a research project in the biodiversity conservation field. The main objective of this project was to carry out genetic analysis in extreme environments. The results of that research have then evolved into a pioneering entrepreneurial project that makes genetic analysis available to the productive world, without the need for an intermediary. We strongly believe in scientific innovation, technology transfer, and sustainable development as drivers of market change. For these reasons, in 2021, we have created a new business line oriented to communication transfer: ScienceUP(scienceup.wondergene.bio). ScienceUP mission is to offer communication and scientific training services for 3 target clients: the school (scientific activities for students, teacher training and publishing services), companies and start-ups (support to communicate of their sustainability projects and more generally, to communicate their scientific-technical know-how) and scientific research (training services/support to communication outside the academic field, partnerships in research/monitoring projects).
