“As a child my favorite thing to do was to camp out in the antique shops near my home, and look carefully at every item. I never got tired of it. I would have names and backstories for all people photographed in the heavy albums and the shop owner was quite kind to let me visit every day. I had a treasure box with the little things I could afford, calligraphy quills, doorknobs, a postcard from the 20’s, a bit of Victorian lace. I would imagine all the people who used these things and heavily romanticized it all. I never really stopped collecting, researching, adoring and yes, romanticizing old things.” Today Deborah Granick is a coveted stylist and owner of the brick and mortar shop that is Wonderland Vintage, located in the charming old town of Snohomish, Washington Wonderland Vintage was opened amidst the 2020 pandemic. After spending a good chunk of her life collecting and researching clothing, books and curiosities; she took the leap and decided to pursue her dream of opening a shop and creating a community of like minded individuals that value beauty, empathy and the arts. “Both empathy and courage have such an important place in fashion. Kindness, and courage to be our unique selves, and respect for our artistic journey and the journey of those around us."Courage, empathy, and acceptance, break the monotony of fashion trends. Clothes turn into art when it’s meaningful to the wearer. “ Deborah spent most of her life as an educator (in addition to founding various tech start ups) she still has a passion to help teach others to feel good in their skin and express and celebrate their uniqueness. Today Wonderland collectes, curates and sells antique and vintage apparel and art. We aim to inspire our customers with a rich pallet of colors, textures and time periods to add that something special to thier wardobe. Vintage offers a history and romance to an outfit that cannot be matched. We look forward to meeting you!
