About Woodward Smith Chartered Architects

Our clients include Private Home owners, Housing developers, Corporate and Leisure industry Clients, Industrial and Commercial Businesses, Rural Enterprises including farmers and Local Community interests and Governmental Clients. The practice is design led and in addition to cutting edge contemporary design and eco-solutions we can produce sensitive designs suitable for areas of special landscape or conservation value. We use the latest 3D CAD (Autodesk Revit) and visualisation software to help communicate our architectural schemes to clients and planning authorities. We are committed to delivering sustainable design solutions for all client sectors. The Practice prides itself on its ability to deliver practical and effective design solutions integrating the latest eco-technology for the environmentally conscious consumer / client. In 2006/7 and 2008 we provided design advice to the Ideal Home Exhibitions in Earls Court, producing the Dream House for the 2008 show. In addition we were proud to be involved with the demonstration Eco-House erected at the NEC for Interbuild 08. Working with BRE, Code for Sustainable Home (CSH) and Passivhaus Assessors the practice is currently working on major housing schemes seeking to achieve Passivhaus, Code Level 5 / 6 CSH ratings.
