About Working Gear Clothing Society

Working Gear is a registered charity that provides work related clothing and footwear free of charge to individuals re-entering the workforce. Many of these low income individuals have been unemployed for long periods and lack the finances to afford the clothing needed to find a job. WHAT WE OFFER We provide good quality used or new clothing, including suits, business casual attire as well as construction appropriate clothing and steel toed work boots. We also have an on-site barbershop and provide free haircuts. Our clients are currently unemployed, ready to work, and get referred to us through community agencies that assist the unemployed. HOW IT WORKS Referred clients are booked into an appointment system for a specific time and attend our facility. Volunteers work with them to understand their needs and help find suitable clothing and footwear which are theirs to keep. We depend entirely upon volunteers and donations of money and good quality used or new clothing and footwear to continue our services.
