About World Compassion Network, Inc

Joe and Lynn Wilkey founded World Compassion Network (WCN) in January of 2002 to mobilize and assist the local church in responding to the needs of disaster victims and the poor, demonstrating the grace and mercy of God to a suffering world. WCN understands that those who suffer as a result of poverty, natural disaster and war are in need of God’s love more than ever. God’s own character is one of compassion. Wherever there is human suffering, God is already there in the midst of the trouble waiting for us to join Him in bringing relief and love. One result of showing compassion has been thousands of victims of disaster and poverty coming to know Christ. The WCN story will begin to unfold over the next few months. You can look forward to stories from Joe Wilkey who has been to over 140 countries, in many war zones and stepped out in faith to start this ministry. Josh Grill, Greg Rauen and Sandy Hatcher will also tell their stories about how they became involved in this compassion ministry and how it has affected their lives. Mission trip attendees, volunteers and others who have been touched by WCN will be able to share their stories. We look forward to sharing this heartfelt journey with you.
