About WORLD.MINDS

WORLD.MINDS is a community of leaders in science, the arts and business. We are driven by passion and curiosity. We strive for deep understanding and love new ideas. Our goal is to improve the quality of our decisions as private individuals, as role models and as citizens of this planet – and to inspire others to do so. WORLD.MINDS meets once a year in Zurich for our closed-door Annual Symposium, and organizes several more intimate “Deep Dives” throughout the year. We are in the process of expanding internationally with our partner Axel Springer. Twice a month we are running short, informal video calls with hand-picked community members from around the world. We call them WORLD.MINDS ESPRESSO. Highly engaging Q&A between community members. No recording. Strict Chatham House Rule. ESPRESSO conversation partners include former CIA Director General David Petraeus, Bill Gates, architect Lord Norman Foster, designer and inventor Neri Oxman, legendary shareholder activist Bill Ackman, author Margaret Atwood, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Jim Stavridis, among others. WORLD.MINDS is an invitation-only community. You cannot buy your way into WORLD.MINDS. WORLD.MINDS is a real community of real people sharing real insights. Since we meet in person at our symposia and events – be it in Zurich, Berlin, Belgrade, New York, Boston or online at our regular WORLD.MINDS ESPRESSO calls – we know each other personally to a high degree. Indeed, we are a community, not a series of events. The not-for-profit WORLD.MINDS FOUNDATION is based in Switzerland and regulated by Swiss law. Funding is provided by our international business community and generous individuals. WORLD.MINDS Management Ltd. is the event management company that organizes our events on an international level. The event management company is jointly owned by the WORLD.MINDS-team and Axel Springer.
