Our mission is simple yet bold: to create a multilingual ecosystem in 12+ major languages alongside English, providing unrestricted global access to stories for over 5 billion people. Background: Stories to Grow By was founded in the 1990s by Elaine Lindy and has become known worldwide for providing kid-tested folktales, fairy tales, and theater scripts that inspire meaningful, lasting experiences for children. Each story is rated and reviewed by kids and families, ensuring they are both entertaining and empowering. Today, we are evolving into World Stories Bank, a new global home for stories that celebrate cultural wisdom and connect children everywhere. Powered by storiestogrowby.org, WSB will preserve our legacy while expanding our catalog far beyond the 100+ stories we currently offer. Our commitment is to curate impactful stories from across countries, cultures, and traditions, representing children and families worldwide. What’s Coming: We are actively developing the World Stories Bank website, designed with a framework to support multilingual access.
