The story starts many years ago. As a youngster, I got interested in wines and whiskies. Not just any wine- and whisky bottles but the rare ones, very well known, belonging to special selections. As you may imagine, I could hardly afford these. I did several studies into wine and whisky, to learn more about the two products and to improve and deepen my knowledge. Family and friends joined my hobby and advised me on the choices I should make. From all over the world I got offers of the best and the finest selections. On travels to Scotland, France, Spain, the USA and Asia (Japan, China and Taiwan), I met many people, who are the masters in their area. That’s why I choose our name ‘World Wine & Whisky’. My hobby finally became my work. My network increased as well as my personal collection of special fine & rare wines and whiskies. Finally I took the plunge and decided to start a webshop with the help of my family and many good friends, who joined my network. Knowledge is key. The webshop www.worldwinewhisky.com has been online since July 2017. In close cooperation with Wine Company De Ware Jacob, we are offering a fine and rare selection of wines and whiskies to the market. Exclusive and unique to our customers. We also hope to function as a spindle in our network and will constantly look for the best of the best and the ones that are hard to find. Why?
