About Worldwide Connections Events

Worldwide Connections was started in 1991 when Judy left her comfortable position with Lufthansa as Sales Promotions Manager, Northern England and Northern Ireland. Initially concentrating on inbound tourism into the UK, soon the focus was on specialist groups to destinations worldwide. In 1996 Worldwide Connections developed the concept of regionalised route development conferences for the aviation industry with the first Euro-Connects meeting taking place in Budapest, followed by Milan, Hamburg, Bern, Birmingham and Istanbul, with its sister event AsiaConnects taking place in Kuala Lumpur and Abu Dhabi. Over the past decade Worldwide Connections has been working on a variety of global community projects and combining with family priorities. Over the ensuing period Worldwide Connections has reviewed and analysed the development of the aviation industry and identified the area which needs the most attention. In November 2017 Euro-Connects is returning, identifying the new challenges for an industry which has changed beyond recognition, and a society which is changing by the minute. As the true innovator in the aviation industry Euro-Connects 2017 identifies the changes over the past decade, particularly with the need for involvement of sectors of society which truly influence viability and sustainability.
