About WPU - Waste Plastic Upcycling A/S

We transform plastic waste into new "green" oil which can be used to produce new plastic or to make climate friendly fuel. We believe it makes sense to use old plastic to drive, sail or fly! The journey of plastic from waste to new plastic takes place in the reactors at WPU's factories. The technology is based on pyrolysis which processes the plastic at high temperatures. The process returns plastic-oil that can be used for new plastics or as additives to petrol and diesel and thus replace the bio-oils that are grown on our agricultural land today. WPU is in rapid development. We are in the process of building three factories, and the first factory will be ready in 2022. From 2024 our factories can recycle 159,000 tonnes of plastic waste annually.
