Formally part of Wardle Storeys Group, WSBL became a privately owned company in 2007. Our commitment to improvement and development has meant that our product portfolio has adapted and expanded to meet customer demands and expectations. Specialists in noise insulation and vibration damping materials for a wide range of industries, including oil, gas, building and industrial applications. Based in Blackburn, UK, we work alongside the world’s largest acoustic contractors and suppliers. Project specific materials are regularly developed and are commonly made to customer requirements and specifications. WSBL also has a strong presence in the automotive sector, supplying bespoke acoustic and vibration damping barriers for different applications including moulding and decoupling materials. WSBL’s responsibilities towards our customers’ requirements regarding ‘tested’ materials and barriers is of paramount importance within our company ethos. As such, we continually develop, improve, and test our materials to some of the highest ‘acoustic’ and ‘fire’ testing standards available. WSBL uses only officially certified test houses such as University of Salford Acoustic Laboratories for our acoustic testing and some of the world’s biggest, most respected fire testing laboratories, such as Exova for our external fire testing requirements. We pride ourselves on recycling materials otherwise disregarded and taken to landfill, from flooring, cables, PPE, the list is endless. Most of our products are also recyclable at the end of their use too, creating a circular economy.
