Providing the highest level of professional service and design expertise in the state of Michigan, WTA Architects is one of the largest architectural firms in the Great Lakes Bay Region and our commitment to our clients is essential to the success of each project we do. Located in downtown Saginaw, MI, WTA Architects was originally founded by Frederick E. Wigen in 1947 and later incorporated under the name Wigen Tincknell & Associates, Inc. when Leslie D. Tincknell became a partner in 1963. Our firm’s legacy has always been one where the client’s needs come first while maintaining the highest level of professional services and design. Throughout the years our firm has evolved from one generation to the next. We have an extensive staff of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professionals accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council. We also have members of the WTA Architects staff who are qualified Preservation Specialists, offering expertise in rehabilitation practices including exterior envelope and masonry investigation as well as historic preservation.
