About WYCP - Wilderness Youth Challenge Program
WYCP is a non profit charity organization that provides wilderness challenge programs to youth at risk. Our mission is to ensure that youth at risk have an opportunity to learn relapse prevention techniques, trust in their peer to peer relationships and others and themselves to make good choices. Our challenge programs are structured 5 or 10 days programs that are fully outfitted with gear, food and equipment. There is "No fee" to take a challenge program for the youth. We match donors to each youth participant. Each youth is responsible to complete the program, go through a graduation ceremony and write a letter of appreciation to their donor. These programs are life changing for the youth at risk. Better decisions start with better choices.
