About Xisaab Academy

Xisaab Academy is a youth-led nonprofit founded by three driven students—Abdullahi Adan, Abdirahman Hassan, and Yacqub Ali—two freshmen and one junior united by a powerful dream: to uplift their community through education and opportunity. The idea was born when junior founder Abdullahi, while studying for the SAT, saw firsthand the disparities in access to academic resources. With a deep passion for international relations and justice, he knew something had to change. Together with Abdirahman and Yacqub, Xisaab Academy was launched to close that gap. Today, Xisaab Academy is more than just a name—it’s a movement. Built on equity, knowledge, and service, we are committed to providing educational support, mentorship, and access to the tools our community needs to thrive.
