The EON800 Tether System eliminates traditional flight time limitations & delivers secure, high-bandwidth fiber connectivity, enabling drones to operate advanced, power-intensive payloads with uninterrupted data transfer. Essentially, we’ve created a 30-400+ foot portable pole deployable in minutes. By powering & connecting the Freefly Alta X, the EON800 has transformed the UAS into a Flying Cell Tower equipped with LTE base stations, Starlink Wi-Fi access points & P25 repeaters, making it an invaluable tool for emergency response & telecommunications. The EON800 has also enhanced heavy-lift drones by enabling high-performance imaging capabilities, including hyperspectral, thermal, high-speed & high-resolution cameras, with real-time data streaming & high-bandwidth imaging. Made in Melbourne, Australia, the EON800 enables continuous flights of over 15 hours while carrying up to 15 kg (33 lbs). With eight single-core fibers for fast, secure data transfer, it integrates seamlessly with UAV payloads, pushing operational boundaries. Payload manufacturers are just beginning to explore the EON800’s full potential. Its flexible payload integration has opened the door to even broader applications, from deploying high-powered LED lighting for construction, mining, public safety, defence & disaster response, to supporting scientific research & industrial testing.
