The Home of Extreme Triathlon™ The XTRI World Tour is a Journey to new and exciting places where the richness of culture is tangible. It's a journey about incredible people and their accompanying stories, where the sport of triathlon travels with you as a companion but not a guide. It's a journey that will be different for every traveler, and a story which requires a multitude of elements to complete. We are taking this vision to new audiences in diverse and spectacular surroundings. The XTRI World Tour has matured into a unique and wonderful experience, which combines triathlon with adventure travel; athletes with supporters; landscape with culture and personal challenges with great reward. Triathlon has grown worldwide and is undertaken by countless thousands, but only those with a passion for serious adventure, significant personal challenge, a nose for new discoveries and a drive to take part in some of the toughest events on earth will choose XTRI. XTRI is not about best times and fastest transitions, it's about you against yourself. Course distances are based on the available routes and topographic features, local logistics and infrastructure, water temperatures and technical terrain, they are like other full distance races, but not the same. Each course is unique, and each requires different skills, but all are extreme, many including difficult mountainous terrain. Field sizes are limited, and a support team is required. Local community involvement is also key as is careful and sustainable use of the natural race courses. XTRI is tough, XTRI is beautiful and XTRI is true, basic and unique. Quite simply, it's a Journey unlike any other.
