XYZ Homework was born in 2009 out of the need to provide an online engagement and assessment engine to the eBook offerings from XYZ Textbooks. As the popularity of the system grew, we recognized a need to provide resources outside those of XYZ Textbooks. XYZ Homework now partners with OpenStax (OER textbooks and ebooks). This collaboration allows XYZ Homework to expand into additional sub-disciplines of Mathematics including Calculus and Statistics. XYZ Homework embraced the challenge to code the questions from the OpenStax textbooks, so instructors can access the OpenStax book-aligned problems, as well as tens of thousands of additional algorithmically-generated questions in other math disciplines. There are many professionally developed courses from OpenStax, XYZ Textbooks, and custom courses, allowing faculty to select the right implementation and get operational quickly. XYZ Homework is the platform for those institutions, departments and faculty who want to own the course resources and teach their material the way they desire. We provide full support for setting up a custom template for your departments, including coding custom questions. This support extends to training faculty on the features of XYZ Homework as well as anything specific to your custom template. Our pricing model enables instructors to not only use the platform for their main course, but also allows them to create supplemental course work to support corequisite instruction at no extra cost. Our low annual price permits students to take multiple courses for a single fee. XYZ Homework is built using the fastest-growing mathematics cloud platform, co-author David Lippman's Internet Math Assessment System, IMathAS. The XYZ Homework partnership with IMathAS utilizes a powerful assessment engine combined with XYZ Homework's ease of use enhancements and experienced course designers. The combination provides an engagement platform that is second to none.
