Yarn'n offers an end to end employment service. This service extends from assisting in targeting appropriate jobs, through the attraction and selection process with continued support to maintain the employment placement. We have extensive experience in assisting employers to develop employment pathways which lead to sustainable employment as well as assistance in building cultural capability. Over the last few years, Yarn'n has assisted a number of Australia's major corporations and employers in building and delivering Aboriginal employment programs and initiatives. Yarn'n has continually delivered employment services and programs for Aboriginal people and our private, not for profit and public sector clients since 2006. Vocational Training and Employment Centres are an initiative of the Australian Government based on GenerationOne's work to improve employment outcomes for Aboriginal people. The VTEC model is based on the candidate and the job being the point of focus for all preparation, assistance and training. Yarn'n Aboriginal Employment Services commenced as a VTEC in June 2014. We have been delivering Aboriginal employment services for the last 8 years under the Indigenous Employment Program. We place around 170 candidates into work every year, achieving a more than 90% 26 week retention rate. There is a story behind our work with every candidate, every employer and every community.
