About yasAI

We are a German AI company focusing on bridging the gap between engineering simulation and artificial intelligence. In 2020, we started a software project called „Engineering Data Processor“ that set out to simplify how engineers create surrogate models from simulation data. We were recognized and supported early by Germany’s „EXIST Gründerstipendium“ grant. In 2022, the project was officially incorporated as yasAI— a nod to our roots in software development (hence the lowercase spelling) and an hommage to the project’s initial nickname. As we grew, we noticed something important: Our clients didn’t just want powerful software, they also wanted clarity about the inner workings of AI. So, while demonstrating and applying AI in projects and consulting engagements, we naturally began explaining AI concepts on the fly. This informal teaching soon evolved into our popular training course, „Fundamentals of AI for Simulation Engineers“, currently offered exclusively through NAFEMS. Beyond training and software, we have always enjoyed sharing our expertise directly through consulting and research projects. We have even created a unique training that integrates directly into our clients‘ projects, delivering both education and immediate value. Our passion for solving practical problems recently led to a spin-off of our original method: A software solution optimizing routes and pickups for bus fleets. Today, yasAI proudly supports international customers and collaborates globally, driven forward by a dedicated team of engineers and AI-experts who remain curious and innovative across many disciplines.
