YATAY is a Japanese restaurant and bar themed around the street stalls seen in Tokyo Japan, otherwise known as Yatai. Yatai literally means food stands which offer a small dining and drinking space gathered in confined dining spaces. Yatai are a natural hub where people eat, drink, and socialise - this is the very essence of Yatay bringing street food and culture to London. ‘Yatay’ is going to be a dynamic and multi-faceted experience. At the heart of this concept lies the ROBATAYAKI – Japanese charcoal grill. The key elements for Yatay will include a live Yakitori Kitchen, Japanese themed drinks programme in a social dining environment. The restaurant and bar is scheduled to open in early September 2021, in the heart of London West End's Wardour Street and world renowned China Town. Restaurant will have a capacity of 135 covers.
