We have advanced vacuum forming equipment processing thermoplastics from 1-10mm thick and up to 2.5 x 1.5 meters in size. Our CNC trimming machines 3 dimensional components in 5-axis and our dedicated team of fabricators handle the most demanding assemblies. We provide a specialist manufacturing service of a technical nature to other industrial manufacturers. We work closely with a broad range of customers, using advanced CAD/CAM software and manufacturing techniques to develop, tool and manufacture good looking and functional thermoplastic components for a multitude of applications. A powerful combination of years of experience in thermoplastics and 21st century technology provides clients with a wide range of components . Plastic Forming, Plastic Fabrication ABS, PVC, Polycarbonate and many more. Our Geiss Vacuum Forming machines have a stepless automatic window plate system, which allows us to increase or reduce the aperture size at the touch of a button; this enables us to be more responsive to customers' unforeseen or urgent requirements as we don't have to wait for the next plate cycle. YC Plastics currently has four 5-axis CNC machines, which are driven by the latest linear motors and have a fast traverse speed of 120m per minute. The centre screen allows continuous machining in a safe environment. Additional Equipment includes: -3d Laser -Bridgeport VMC Machining Centre - Pacer 2512HD 3 Axis -Pacer 3 Axis - Vertical Band saws - Circular Saws - Horizontal Band saw - Cumberland Granulator Our company has invested heavily in our design department over the years in both software and training. We are able to receive all conventional drawing formats (Such as IGES and DXF) Our design department can easily convert all 3D data and use this information to create tooling and machine programs. We are one of only a few companies in the UK who are able to program full 5 axis off line and also adopt conventional 3 axis programming and machine teach in functions.
