Yamasaki Ku Hong Associates Design Lab (YKH) was established in 2000 by Tae Sun Hong, former partner and CEO of Yamasaki Associates in Troy, Michigan. From the beginning, we have established ourselves as a firm that strives to create unique and innovative designs while remaining sensitive to the culture and surrounding environment. We retain many of the core values set forth by Minoru Yamasaki, whose reputation for design excellence set the stage for an international practice that extends throughout the United States, Asia and the Middle East. Today, our staff is made up of architects, interior designers, planners and administrative personnel. Whether the objective is to create an environment that enhances learning, increases employee productivity or evokes inspirational thoughts, our designers approach each project by considering the end user’s needs and the client’s goals. Our solutions enhance performance and experience while also considering the project’s overall scope and budget.
