About YMCA Camp Kern
YMCA Camp Kern is a member of the Greater Dayton YMCA association. Established in 1910, Camp Kern is an American Camping Association accredited facility. Our goal is to provide every guest with a memorable experience that meets the goals of their visit, whether that be challenging themselves, disconnecting from the digital world, making new friends, reconnecting with colleagues or building new relationships. We are passionate about our 'kids and guest first philosophy', meaning that it runs through every decision we make and although safety will always be our number one priority, we strive to ensure that all our guests also feel welcomed, comfortable and content during their stay with us. Serving over 30,000 guests a year can be a challenge at times, but our team has a 'can-do' attitude that allows us to find solutions to any problems that may arise. We are proud of our reputation for excellent customer service and we are confident in our ability to exceed expectations for all our guests. We are told time and again that camp is a place where, "I can be myself" or that "Camp is my second home" and we hope that all our guests leave with that same feeling. Camp is an inclusive environment, designed for all and we are adamant about making this a safe place for everyone to be themselves, learn about themselves and grow as an individual. We strive for diversity and inclusion in all we do and expect the same of our staff, volunteers and guests.
