About YNOT Services
Youth Now On Track services (YNOT) was founded in 2006 by a group of community leaders led by Francis Ubah. YNOT was borne out of a vision and need to fill the gap in grass-root youth services for the low-income and new immigrants’ families in the community. The inspiration for the youth center came from a need to address challenges facing youth in conflict with the law. In 2009 Youth Now On Track Services, YNOT was incorporated and later registered as a charitable organization. YNOT currently supports over 200 youth and families through our unique protective and innovative programs including: Defining Who You Are (DWYA) and Restorative Justice (RJP) – focuses on youth, crime prevention, and justice by advocacy. We apply intervention and prevention strategies to divert the youth away from the dangers of the streets. We offer holistic services including individual designs to our client’s specific needs. Empower Children for Greater Tomorrow (ECGT) - focuses on healthy self-esteem in the development of youth. Works collaboratively with parents, educators, and community leaders to support youth by addressing issues of low self-esteem, poor learning and coping skills, peer pressure, stress, anger, and other matters that are barriers to success. BSSR- Back to School Stress Relief program. Workshops on Overcoming Mental Illness. YNOT's great Summer Camp for the youth / children in our community. And our Youth Leadership Forums just to mention but a few
