YogaHub also provides professional development and ongoing education for yoga instructors. YogaHub was founded by yoga teacher and Boston-native, Ali Singer. From the moment she began practicing, Ali was captivated by yoga for creating a meditative space around physical exercise. Over several years of trying different styles and studios, she experienced not only the physical benefits for which she began practicing, but enhanced mental clarity and contentment, both on and off the mat. Eager to learn more about the practice, she enrolled in teacher-training and discovered an aptitude for coaching others. Upon beginning her teaching career, Ali noticed that there was a high demand for private lessons, corporate services, and professional development for yoga teachers. She saw how the yoga industry had grown exponentially over the past 10 years, but instructors were struggling- they needed support and resources to connect with clients who wanted their services. She witnessed how corporate enterprises and financial incentives overpowered the sacred traditions of the practice, creating a disjointed community and false representation of yoga in the media. Ali envisioned a solution which honored yoga's roots, unified and empowered instructors, and enabled every individual to experience yoga's benefits.
