About Yokota Striders Running Club

The Yokota Striders Running Club is a non-profit private organization, as recognized by the US Air Force, based at Yokota Air Base Japan. We proudly host the annual Frostbite Race, a half marathon open to Japanese civilians, enjoyed by over 10,000 participants each year. In 2026, we will be celebrating the 45th edition of this longstanding event. Our mission is to support individuals in achieving their running goals and to make races in Japan more accessible to everyone. We strive to strengthen ties with the Japanese community while continuing to support a wide range of military and civilian organizations. Through service projects and partnerships with local and regional running groups, we are dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and making a lasting impact on the community.
