We are a family run company specialising in the rental of a selection of commercial rental properties in the West Yorkshire area. Our main team consist of: John Heeley Townend - Chief Executive Officer Julia Townend - Managing Director Sarah Walsh - Office Manager Our YPRL company was formed in 2016 and fully established by 2020. This company was forged from the success of John Heeley Townends previous business in Electronics named Johns Radio. The Johns Radio company was established in the early 1960's with John himself as a sole trader, at the age of 22 years; beginning with a small shop based in the centre of Leeds. Within one year John was able to move into a warehouse with better storage facilities on the Whitehall Road. Over the next 20 years as the business grew John moved the business into larger warehouses based in Batley, Birkenshaw and finally Smithies Mills, Batley . The Johns Radio business consisted of the sale of ex Government Surplus in radio and electronic equipment with a worldwide customer base. In 2000 due to the changes in technology Johns Radio ceased trading and John decided to invest in properties to create a new property rental business. Our company aim is to create a range of affordable units for local businesses. Many of our tenants are longstanding, gradually upgrading and moving into larger units as their businesses have grown.
