About Young and Phillips
Established in 1983 we are a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants with fifteen professional and support staff. The firm operates from offices at Pontypridd and Treorchy. We have a wide range of clients, concentrating our services on individuals, professional partnerships and small and medium sized businesses. The majority of our clients are located in the South Wales Area, but we also service numerous clients from further afield. As a firm of Chartered Accountants, we adhere to a strict professional code of conduct. We employ qualified and experienced staff who are properly trained and supervised. Clients deal directly with one of our directors or associates maintaining a strong personal approach and continuity. We believe in providing a personal service with the aim of looking after our clients’ total financial position. This involves more than just the production of a set of accounts or a Tax Return. We seek to help our clients maximise their wealth, protect their assets and minimise their taxation liabilities. In addition, we have developed relationships with other professionals to ensure clients have access to expert advice in other related fields should this be necessary. Like any other organisation we have to make a profit from our services to be able to fairly reward our staff and invest in our business. We are also conscious that we need to provide value for money in respect of the services we provide. Initial interviews are free. In most cases estimated or fixed fees can be quoted in advance. Our terms of settlement are normally 30 days from date of invoice, but many clients prefer to pay us by monthly standing order.
