About Young Audiences New York
Young Audiences New York wants all children in our city to experience and create art! We provide distinctive opportunities across the arts - music, dance, theatre, visual and digital art - for children and teens from kindergarten through high school. Each year, our profressional, practicing artists teach more than 45,000 children and youth in New York City's public schools and community centers. For many of these children and their families, Young Audiences New York provides their only access to the arts. We believe that no matter what kind of work today’s children will go on to do as tomorrow’s grown-ups, they will need to be confident experimenting and innovating, influencing others, expressing new ideas, thinking globally, and teaming up with a diversity of people to make things happen.
