About Young European Leadership (YEL)

Young European Leadership (YEL) is an international European nonprofit and nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering young leaders and future decision makers across Europe. Through international programs and initiatives, YEL aims to inspire and enable young leaders from all backgrounds to shape their own future and the future of Europe, fostering innovative solutions to local and global challenges. YEL’s international team is composed of young people who, together with other young European leaders on all levels, seek to jointly work on shaping their generation’s and Europe’s future for the better. Among YEL’s activities, we are the organizing committee (OC) of the European Union for the youth engagement groups of the G7 & G20. This makes us responsible for recruiting and training the European Union delegations to the official young G7/G20 outreach programs. We also participate in a multitude of international conferences in Europe and beyond to give young people the opportunity to present their concerns and provide critical as well as innovative policy input. Through our work and collaborations with institutional partners we aim to give young Europeans a voice in policy making across Europe and beyond.
