About Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs) Australia & New Zealand Inc

As of 2021, YIPs operate 11 branches across Australia and New Zealand with a diverse following of active ‘young’ members across the insurance industry. As an organisation pioneered and managed by volunteers, we have built a team of remarkable young people who contribute a wealth of time and effort to provide development opportunities to our peers in the industry through YIPs. Our mission is to promote insurance as a rewarding career choice to those already in the industry, and also to those who might be considering insurance for the first time. We do this by creating events, content and learning opportunities for our members that foster early development, facilitate retention of talent within the industry and attract new graduates. We act as a hub within the industry from which our members as well as non-members can interact, collaborate and grow as a cohort as well as individually. Our membership is open to those young professionals working in the insurance industry across underwriters, brokers, claims personnel, risk managers, loss adjusters, insurance lawyers, accountants and other service providers.
