About Young Minds Campaign

Young Minds Campaign, was founded by Deborah Tabi in May 2025. It is a Non-profit organisation created as a result of the founder's passion to see young people from disadvantaged backgrounds succeed irrespective of the restrictions placed upon them by their environments. Through a consciousness of the impact of the intersectionality of factors such as race and social class and their effects on both educational and future prospects of young people, she hopes to be a voice of encouragement for less privileged young people. She believes that despite our environments playing a key role in shaping us as individuals, it should not define the future of a person From her own experience, she resonates with how difficult it can be for one to try to see beyond what is around them and imagine a better future for oneself. This is a difficult but rewarding journey she is still embarking on, and she’d love to inspire and encourage talented young individuals from similar backgrounds to do the same. The Young Minds Campaign hopes to do this by breaking a mindset of limitation in students from similar backgrounds who believe they are limited by their circumstances. With every talk and interaction, she hopes that these young people will dare to dream again.
